General Post:
1. After logging in, go to the Dashboard.
2. On the lefthand bar, use the Post> Add New to begin a new post.
3. Give a useful title to the Post.
4. On the right hand sidebar select an appropriate category [your name].
5. On the right hand sidebar select an appropriate tag or assign a new one.
Essay Post: you can enter text and images directly in the body of the post, as you would in a graphically edited version of a document.
Presentation Post:
1. Don’t upload your pdf’s to the site. Instead you’ll upload pdf documents to Scribd and link your blog post to these. The pdf files can then be viewed in the body of the post. To do this, Log in to Scribd > ”My Shelf” > Share > use the tab for “WordPress Format”, copy/paste that link into the body of your post on the blog. The link should look something like a bracketed version of this:

2. Click Update on the right hand bar, and visit the site to ensure the post was successful.
Resources + Links (to essays, data resources, salient sites etc.):
1. After logging in, go to the Dashboard.
2. On the lefthand bar, use the Pages> All Pages > Resources> Edit
